“Stephen Frears” 감독의 2000년도 영화, 『High Fidelity』.
한국 제목은 너무나 기특하게도『사랑도 리콜이 되나요』
“John Cusack”, “Joan Cusack”, “Tim Robbins”, “Catherine Zeta-Jones”, “Jack Black” 등이 줄줄이 나오는 영화다. 배우 뿐만이 아니고 Rock 애호가들이라면 “오호~”라는 감탄사를 연발할 만한 노래들이 연이어 흘러나오기도 하는 영화이다.
오늘은 그 노래들 중 하나를 소개하고자 한다.
Scotland 출신의 “The Beta Band”가 부른 “Dry the rain”인데, 이들이 발표한 3개의 EP를 한데 묶어서 1998년에 발매한 “3 E.P.’s” 앨범에 수록되어 있다.
